With a lightweight structure (density ~430 kg/m³) and fine uniform texture, Okoume is highly machinable, making it the primary plywood base material in Africa.Over 70% of Gabon’s Okoume harvest is processed into veneer and plywood, dominating global markets for decorative panels, furniture, and marine applications.
